If you need to have your goods stored, then be sure to clean and dry ALL door seals very carefully.
The rubber seals on fridges, freezers, tumble driers and washing machines are all very susceptible and should all be wiped completely dry before sending them to be stored. The nicer items are before storage the nicer they will be when they are returned to your new home.
